GSOC – Change to mask enforcement policy in retail increases risk of abuse to staff

With changes to Government policy during the Covid-19 pandemic in regards to rule enforcement, the burden of ensuring customers adhere to distancing and mask wearing rules has fallen to security officers on the premises. Unfortunately, with a tightening of the rules, the risk of violence to retail colleagues and officers has increased. Read more in our GSOC report.
